A man with glasses, a beard, and casual clothing holding a camera stands on a basketball court, with a large group of students seated in the bleachers behind him.

It all began…

…with a simple love for making videos. Long before weddings, I was filming skits with my cousins at family gatherings and staying up late editing them, completely drawn to the excitement of seeing a story come together on screen. That early creative spark grew into a deeper interest in cameras, storytelling, and the many ways film can preserve a feeling.

Over time, I explored different kinds of work, including sports, commercial, and narrative but everything changed when I filmed my first wedding. I quickly realized I had found the kind of storytelling that felt most meaningful to me: working with couples on one of the most important and emotional days of their lives. There is something special about capturing the energy, joy, and emotion of a wedding day, then shaping it into a film that reflects not only how it looked, but how it truly felt.

That is why I created Field & Lake Films. My goal is to combine visuals and audio in a way that creates a lasting film time capsule—something couples and families can return to for years and generations to come. At the heart of it all, I am still the same goofy kid making videos with his cousins, and I try to bring that same sense of creativity, fun, and care to every story I tell.
